Studies have shown that exposure to daylight and sunlight can increase the brain's serotonin levels, which can boost mood and create a sense of euphoria. Since autumn brings a plethora of natural sunlight, it's an opportunity to replace the darkness of winter with bright and lively colours.  Just be sure to take a moment and enjoy the seasons changing.

In fact, as we inch our way to October, it's a great time to mark our lives with a little more focus on gratitude and thanksgiving; then we're bound to experience an uptick in positive emotions such as joy, contentment, and peace. Expressing gratitude can lead to a better mood, stronger relationships, and improved mental health.

The autumn season is synonymous with coziness and comfort. With cooler temperatures outside, it's the perfect opportunity to cuddle up with a blanket and a warm drink, immerse yourself in a good book, listen to some classical music or take a nature walk. Studies have shown that spending time in a tranquil environment can reduce stress and anxiety levels, increase mental clarity, and improve overall well-being.
