Two Months In: How are those New Years Resolutions going?

it's been two months since the start of the new year, and it's a good moment to touch base on those New Year's resolutions we set with such enthusiasm and resolve back in January. Now that the initial excitement has calmed down, let's take a moment to see where we stand and discuss our next steps forward

OK.  SO we're two months into the new year, and it's time for a little check-in on those New Year's resolutions. You know, the ones we set with all that excitement and determination back in January? Well, now that the initial buzz has settled, let's chat about where we're at and how we can keep moving forward.  How are they going for you?  Did you give up after 2 days?  Maybe 2 weeks?  Maybe you're stumbling a little you're still determined to meet those goals the best you can?  OR maybe you're smashing the goals and you're on track (if not way ahead)

Here's a bunch of reminders:

1. Celebrate the Wins:
First things first, let's give ourselves a pat on the back for any progress we've made so far. Whether it's big accomplishments or just small steps in the right direction, it's all worth celebrating. Recognizing our wins can give us that extra boost of motivation to keep pushing forward.  Little wins matter as much as big wins, don't forget that!

2. Reflect on the Roadblocks:
Now, let's talk about the challenges we've faced along the way. Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs, right? Take a moment to think about what's been tripping you up. Identifying these roadblocks can help us figure out how to navigate around them in the future.  Look even if that roadblock is giving up, hey there's nothing wrong with getting back on the horse and try again.  There's still plenty of time till 2025 after all...

3. Are Our Goals Still on Track?
So, here's the million-dollar question: are our original goals still working for us? Things change, priorities shift, and that's totally okay. Maybe it's time to tweak our goals a bit to better fit where we're at now. Flexibility is key!  Don't let you get in the way of...well...you.

4. Pump Up the Motivation:
Alright, if our motivation's been feeling a bit lackluster lately, it's time to give it a boost. Let's remind ourselves why we set these goals in the first place. Visualize the awesome outcomes we'll achieve once we crush those resolutions. And hey, surrounding ourselves with some motivational vibes never hurts!

5. Let's Get Strategic:
Now that we've reflected on where we're at, let's come up with a game plan to keep the momentum going. Break those big goals down into smaller, manageable steps. We've got this! And hey, it never hurts to try out some new strategies to keep things interesting.

6. Be Kind to Yourself:
Last but definitely not least, let's practice a little self-compassion. Nobody's perfect, and setbacks happen. It's all part of the journey. So, let's cut ourselves some slack, learn from those slip-ups, and keep on truckin'.  Your future self will thank you for this.

Let's celebrate our wins, reflect on the roadblocks, adjust our goals if needed, pump up that motivation, get strategic, and above all, be kind to ourselves along the way.
