“Let’s be personal.”
Have you ever hesitated to face the hard or shadowy parts of yourself—worried about judgment, pain, or shame? You’re not alone. I often tell clients: come exactly as you are. There’s no need to be polished or perfect in our time together.
I aim to be informal, approachable, and above all—human. Therapy with me is a place where you can breathe, reflect, laugh, cry, and start fresh.
As a psychologist, my goal is to help you explore the areas of your life that may need more attention, care, or clarity. I’m here to support you through struggle and to celebrate your wins—no matter how big or small. I truly believe therapy isn’t something that just “happens to us.” It’s something we co-create, with curiosity, courage, and a willingness to “go there.”
My approach blends humour and heart with evidence-based care. I’ll meet you wherever you are, and we’ll work together at a pace that feels right to you. Whether we’re unpacking past wounds or managing present stressors, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported throughout the process.
Life transitions
Stress and burnout
Anxiety and depression
Trauma and PTSD
Shame, guilt, and emotional overwhelm
Boundaries and people-pleasing
Personal growth and self-awareness
Managing expectations and identity exploration
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from several modalities to tailor each session to your needs:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): Because thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are all connected
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Because values help guide meaningful change
Person-Centered Therapy: Because you already hold the answers
EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy): Because understanding emotions is a skill we can build
Clients often describe me as energetic, warm, and validating. I use humour and real talk to create a space where people feel at ease—like we’re in this together. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more empowered, more yourself, and ready to try something new in support of your growth.
Before entering the field of psychology, I worked in health and wellness education. I completed a Bachelor of Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Alberta in 2015, then earned my Master of Counselling from City University in 2022.
When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me exploring the outdoors, sipping a great cup of coffee, or sharing a good laugh with loved ones.
